Marana is a relatively new municipality, incorporating in 1977 to control our most valuable resource – water. Although the Town is young, Marana has a rich history, and heritage preservation is one of our priorities.
With our unique location between Tucson and Phoenix, Marana is an attractive community dedicated to maintaining a friendly environment where people can work, shop, live and play.

Maricopa Superior Court Judge Kristin Hoffman ruled Wednesday in favor of the Town of Marana in its suit against Pima County, allowing the Town to own the wastewater conveyance system located within its limits.
