FOR
CONSULTANTS INTERESTED IN PERFORMING
AS-NEEDED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR
THE TOWN OF MARANA
Statements Due: July 5, 2012
The TOWN OF MARANA, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, IS SOLICITING Statement Of Qualifications (SOQ) to develop a Qualified Consultants List (QCL) of firms qualified to provide As-Needed Professional Engineering Services from which a maximum of six (6) Prime Consultants will be accepted and awarded a contract to provide services. The pool of qualified consultants will be grouped using two criteria: those prime firms with a three year average contract amount of less than $1,800,000 (firm wide) and those prime firms with a three year average contract amount of greater than $1,800,000 (firm wide). The Prime Consultant’s sub-consultant team will not be evaluated or added into the total amount for the Prime’s $1.8 million threshold. .All work shall be performed to Town Standards, or other standards approved by the Town of Marana.
The Town of Marana may award an As-Needed Professional Service Contract, renewable annually, for a period not to exceed three (3) years, to each Consultant accepted to provide services. The Town shall issue a Purchase Order and a Task Order Authorization for services as required. No Consultant will be awarded more than $500,000 per contract year in aggregate value of Task Order Authorizations.
All submittals shall become the property of the Town of Marana, subject to public record request, and any portion thereof may be subject to publication and/or public review, pursuant to A.R.S. §39-121.01, and A.R.S. § 39-121.03.
Statement Of Qualifications will be accepted up to, but no later than, 4:00 P.M., Local Time, on Thursday, July 5, 2012, in the office of the Assistant Director of the Public Works Department, 1st Floor Administration Building, Town of Marana Municipal Complex, 11555 West Civic Center Drive, Marana, Arizona 85653. Any SOQ submitted after the time and date specified herein will not be accepted. A SOQ received by the Town in accordance with the requirements herein will be processed to identify eligible Consultant firms for the selection process.
The Solicitation Documents providing information and instructions for the Request for SOQ for the As-Needed Engineering Services will be available via the Town of Marana website www.marana.com; please sign up for services under the “Notify Me” module. A pre-submittal conference is scheduled for 1:30 P.M., Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the Council Chambers , 1st Floor Administration Building, Town of Marana Municipal Complex, 11555 West Civic Center Drive, Marana, Arizona, 85653. All written technical questions regarding this project must be submitted prior to the pre-submittal conference and may be emailed to e-mail, faxed to 520-382-1998, mailed to Public Services-CIP Department at the address above or delivered to the address above - all to the Attention: Mr. Patrick O’Kane.
