Code Enforcement Open House

June 19, 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM @ Wheeler Taft Abbett, Sr. Library

In an effort to help residents and business owners understand the vital role played by code enforcement personnel, the Town is hosting two open houses next month. Town code enforcement officials will be on hand to address questions regarding garage sale signs, illegally placed signs, weeds, trash, storage of inoperable vehicles and graffiti abatement. The Town values the partnership it has formed with the community to keep Marana clean, safe and healthy. Much of code enforcement’s job is to ensure that the Town remains a place where people can be proud to live and do business.

Club Marana - Toastmasters

June 27, 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM @ Trico Headquarters

A Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere. There is no instructor in a Toastmasters meeting. Instead, members evaluate one another’s presentations. This feedback process is a key part of the program’s success.
