Current Status
DRAFT HCP AND EIS AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC REVIEW

The Marana Draft Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) and the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) are available for public review as of March 2, 2009 (Federal Register Vol 74, No. 39 pages 9101-9103). Read-only copies of these documents are available on the Documents/Maps page on this website, or at www.fws.gov/southwest/es/Arizona

The Marana HCP provides measures to minimize and mitigate the effects of the proposed incidental take of federally listed species to the maximum extent practicable.  If adopted, this HCP will provide for long-term regional planning and will help protect wildlife and habitat while improving the quality of life for Marana residents.

April 15, Wednesday, at the Wheeler Taft Abbett Sr. Branch Library
7800 N. Schisler Dr., Marana, AZ (Southeast corner of Silverbell and Cortaro Roads) from 6:00 to 8:00pm

April 16, Thursday, at the Heritage Highlands Clubhouse ballroom
4949 W. Heritage Club Blvd., Marana, AZ, from 6:00 to 8:00pm
