The path offers panoramic views of the Tortolita Mountains and Sombrero Peak in the Tucson Mountains. Users can enjoy excellent birding, aquatic life and various plants along the desert and river’s edge. The nearby Santa Cruz’s sights and sounds range from a calm river to mild rapids. The shared use path is an excellent chance to exercise outdoors while getting a taste of the views, flora, fauna and history of Marana.
