The building has started on the first ever Habitat Home in the Town of Marana!!!

Marana Builds Habitat is a partnership between the Town of Marana and Habitat for Humanity Tucson to build safe, decent, affordable housing for low- to moderate- income families who live and/or work in Marana. Habitat is scheduled to build 2 homes in Marana.  The walls started going up on the first home in April 2009.  There is a projected wall-raising of fall 2009 for the second home, and more homes in the coming years.

The first Marana Builds Habitat home will be dedicated to Brian and Robert Ranson and their 3 children.

There are a number of ways that you can help out with the Habitat homes in Marana.  Please visit http://www.habitattucson.org/marana for more information.  If you would like to make a cash donation, you can do so by going to the website to donate.  Make sure to select the "Marana Home" so that your donation will go directly to the homes in the Town of Marana.
