The Ransom family, Brian, his wife, Roberta and their three children, ages 11, 8, and 3, were joined by many friends, family and community supporters as they received the keys to their new home. Brian and Roberta have worked hard to complete 400 hours of "'sweat equity" time, a basic tenet of Habitat for Humanity. They will also repay a no-interest mortgage over 25 years, illustrating Habitat for Humanity's objective to give families a "hand up" rather than a "hand out."

There are a number of ways that people can help Habitat homes in Marana. Please visit http://www.habitattucson.org/marana for more information. If you would like to make a cash donation, you may visit the website. Make sure to select the "Marana Home" so that your donation will go directly to homes here.
